Evening & Special Occasion make-up – enhancing the face with colour & smoky eyes.
Bridal Make-up – choosing the correct colours, creating a long lasting make-up.
Adapting current fashions to suit individuals. Using make-up products and accessories – mixing shades, choosing the correct colours to suit all skin tones. Blending, shading, corrective and camouflage make-up. Working at speed without rushing to make the make-up sessions cost effective. How to approach and communicate with the client. Retailing without selling.

Three day fashion & photographic make-up

This course is suitable for students looking to move into the fashion and photographic side of the industry. This course includes all of the beauty & bridal make-up course, but from the angle of fashion & photographic (for both colour and black & white)

Creating looks for magazines
Fantasy make-up
Make-up for the catwalk including tips for working at speed.
Adapting different styles and periods
How to create make up for the camera.

Two day introduction to
character & casualty make-up
9.45am-4.30pm

This 2 day course is suitable for all students wishing to develop other aspects of make-up beyond beauty and gain an introduction to the technique and application of Character work and Casualty Simulation make-up. Make-Up artists trained only in beauty or fashion who have always wanted to expand their skills will find this course very enriching and enjoyable.

  • Character work will include
  • some aging techniques, illness,weathered looks etc
  • Creating injury effects ,bruising ,burns,abrasions ,small scars and incisions
  • Blood Wounds

How to use make-up effectively and get quick results for various Special Effects suitable for film and television. Emphasis is on repeat action effects and does not involve prosthetic
applications.
